After obtaining their first SEC road win since 2009 over South Carolina Saturday, the Cats are starting to move up and the college football world is taking notice!

ESPN’s Greg Ostendorf moved Kentucky up four spots to number nine in this week’s SEC Power Rankings.

9. Kentucky (2-0): For the first time since 2009, Kentucky returned home from an SEC road game with a victory. The Wildcats snapped a 20-game conference losing streak on the road with Saturday’s 26-22 win over South Carolina. And though there was another second-half letdown, all that matters now is that this team is undefeated.
